About Girls Inc. of New York City
Girls Inc. of New York City (GINYC) inspires all girls to be strong, smart, and bold by delivering life-transforming programs to girls, young women, and gender-expansive youth throughout New York City. Through education and advocacy, we prepare girls to navigate gender, economic, and social barriers to advance to a more equitable world.
GINYC's programs reach young people throughout New York City, including Manhattan, the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Queens. We currently partner with over 250 schools and community-based organizations, reaching approximately 10,000 students a year. Our programs help youth develop into healthy, educated, and independent adults. Our signature programs include curriculum covering college and career access and success, data analytics, mental health, leadership development, and financial literacy.
